Front-end developer
At a young and innovative software company in The Hague they are looking for a front-end developer. Something for you? Read on!
The company has developed a fully automated Energy Management System (EMS) to control devices such as charging stations, home batteries, heat pumps and heat buffers intelligently and sustainably for cheap and renewable energy. By 2030, more than 70% of our electricity use must come from renewable sources. So a lot will have to change in the coming years, and everyone will have to deal with this. However, renewable energy is fickle: after all, the sun doesn't always shine and the wind doesn't blow every day. That means new energy systems will have to be put in place to maximize the use of renewable energy when it is there and store it for later in the day when there is no renewable generation. Their software helps households fully automate their electronic wholesale customers to make optimal use of cheap renewable energy, accelerating the energy transition.
