Job description

NMI is looking for an Approval Expert! As an Approval Expert, you will examine measuring instruments for international manufacturers who would like to obtain (worldwide) certification. Together with a team of colleagues, you are responsible for these type examinations. You will record the results in a recommendation or test report. Your investigations can lead to national or international approval of the measuring instrument on the basis of regulations, including the associated interpretations (Metrology Act, MID, Welmec, OIML, IEC etc.). You have intensive contact with your customers and ensure that you inform them satisfactorily about the project status. A mentor will guide you in this varied and knowledge-intensive role so that, in time, you and your team will become responsible for several projects running simultaneously.

What does NMI ask of you?
You can set up and carry out tests in our laboratories. You evaluate the test data and make a final assessment. Furthermore, you know what is important to the customer and you actively respond to this. You like to immerse yourself in the technology and share your professional knowledge, not only with your colleagues but also at (inter)national meetings. You are regularly on the road for test projects and consultancy work. 10 to 20% of the time this will be for foreign customers. You are proud to represent NMi as a globally recognised organisation.

What you can expect from NMi
NMi is a service and customer oriented organisation where technology is paramount. You will have involved and motivated colleagues and the space to realize your ideas and initiatives. In addition, we offer you support to grow professionally and personally.
